Taking care of your newly reglazed tub is easy. Do not use cleaners that contain abrasives, nor should you use abrasive pads. This will eventually damage the finish. A soft cloth or sponge along with liquid soap or a tub and tile cleaner without abrasives will do a good job of cleaning.
Definately NOT. In fact It is difficult for the untrained eye to tell the difference between a new tub and our refinished tubs. We pride ourselves on getting our work to LOOK and FEEL that good.
Our technicians come equipped with ventilation systems to exhaust paint fumes and any dust from overspray outside of the home. In addition we enclose our work area so paint smells will not be noticed in other parts of the home. This makes the process completely safe for family and pets. Although initially you may notice a residual paint smell after completion, most of the smell will be gone after a few hours. We advise to keep the bathroom door closed for up to 4 hours after completion.
Yes, it is important for us to remove all caulking before we start reconditioning the tub. Once we are all completed we apply a smooth, clean caulk line around the tub before we leave.
We ask that you remove all personal items, and shower curtains from the bath area. Shower doors should be removed unless otherwise arranged with our company. Check to see that the drain is not clogged, and that there are no leaky faucets. If possible leaky faucets should be fixed prior to refinishing.
